Singapore Chemistry Olympiad (SChO)
The Singapore Chemistry Olympiad (SChO) is the apex of Chemistry Olympiad competitions in Singapore, and it is open to JC1 (or Year 5) students. To do well in the SChO, you need more than just a strong understanding in Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry, but also a “chemical intuition” that can only be honed through practice that will allow you to tackle questions nimbly. Top performers for the SChO will be selected for the Singapore International Chemistry Olympiad Team, where they will undergo further training by NUS to represent Singapore in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).

Singapore Physics Olympiad (SPhO)
The Singapore Physics Olympiad (SPhO) is the pinnacle of Physics Olympiad competitions in Singapore, and it is open to JC1 (or Year 5) students. To do well in the SPhO, you need both the necessary practice for you to identify and use the required physical concepts, and a sense of “physical intuition” that can only be honed through rigorous discussion and challenge. Top performers for the SPhO will be selected for the Singapore International Physics Olympiad Team, where they will undergo further training by NUS to represent Singapore in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) and International Physics Olympiad (IPhO).
