Singapore Junior Chemistry Olympiad (SJChO)

The Singapore Junior Chemistry Olympiad (SJChO) is an annual Chemistry Olympiad competition in Singapore, that engages Secondary 1 to Secondary 4 students to showcase their chemical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and challenge themselves. One of the most prestigious chemistry competitions in Singapore, it aims to inspire a deep appreciation for Chemistry, and encourage young students to further explore it. Participants in the SJChO gain exposure to a diverse range of challenging topics and real-world applications, and top participants in the SJChO can be identified and earmarked for future training and participation in competitions like the Singapore Chemistry Olympiad (SChO) and International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).

Learning and mastering your concepts is essential to doing well in the SJChO and Chemistry Olympiad competitions in general.

Our Chemistry tutors have specially crafted an SJChO syllabus that specifically addresses the challenges of the Singapore Junior Chemistry Olympiad, and the associated Singapore Chemistry League (SChL). From theoretical foundations to practical applications, we aim to immerse participants in our training in a holistic learning experience, that not just enables your child to approach any question with a well-rounded perspective, but gives them the passion to continue pursuing Chemistry even beyond the competition.
