Singapore Mathematics Olympiad (SMO)
The Singapore Mathematics Olympiad (SMO) is an annual Mathematics Olympiad competition in Singapore, that engages Secondary 1 to JC2 students to showcase their mathematical knowledge, logical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities. One of the most prestigious mathematics competitions in Singapore, it aims to inspire critical and creative thinking in Mathematics among students, and encourage and hone young students’ passions in Mathematics. Top participants in the SMO will be identified and admitted into the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad (SIMO) Team, where they will receive further training to represent Singapore in prestigious competitions.
